With the determined mindset to effectively contribute in the capacity building of the financial sector, KFA was established in the early 2001. From the day KFA came into existence, it has left no stones unturned in persistently aiming to attain its vision by:

• Functionally establishing itself as a most resourceful training platform for the financial and corporate sector of the country.
• Conducting quality research relevant to the financial sector in order to facilitate decision-making by various segments of the economy.
• Establishing itself as a professional company, providing consulting in the areas of Financial Management, Corporate Restructuring, Human Resource Development and Operations Management.

KFA started as a training center by launching KFA General Banking Course (KFA-GBC), which is the most popular banking course in the country today. With the change in context, KFA has understood need of the market and devised various programs rightly focused on requirements of the banking, insurance and corporate fraternities. It has also been providing various kinds of customized programs to the banks and financial institutions.

With the paradigm shift in the financial sector, KFA has launched a 2-Year ‘MBA in Banking & Insurance’ Program. This course is being launched in Nepal for the first time. After the successful completion of the program, participants will obtain an MBA degree from Vinayaka Missions University (VMU) of India.

County has witnessed tremendous growth in the financial sector. Both Banking and Insurance companies have grown in numbers and business transactions. They have evolved as the most attractive and transparent segment for the job seekers.

The basic objective for KFA to launch this course is to produce world-class human resources for their contribution in helping Nepalese Financial Sector grow. Students, who have completed Graduation in any discipline with minimum of 50 percent marks, can apply for this course. This course has an ideal blend of academic and professional subjects. Therefore, KFA has a good mix of academic professors, professional bankers and insurance managers as faculty members of the program.
