B.Sc. in Fashion Design helps students learn draping, patternmaking, and sewing techniques in detail. They will also be able to put their concept into 3 dimensional perspectives with the help of CAD. Top designers of the country and designers from abroad visit our college as guest speakers helping student understand and create designs that can be made public through on campus exhibitions and also through the Nepal Fashion Week, the biggest fashion extravaganza of the country. In the final semester students will get a chance to do internship at leading fashion houses of Nepal.
After completing B.Sc. in Fashion Design students can pursue their careers as costume designers, fashion consultants, fashion designers, assistant designers, fashion entrepreneurs, fashion forecasters, fashion illustrators, fashion merchandisers, fashion photography coordinators, fashion show coordinators, fashion stylists, pattern designers, pattern makers, production supervisors, quality controllers and coordinators (for television, film and theatre) etc.
