INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR ADMISSION TO THE MBA PROGRAM

Spring 2012 Batch

Now thoroughly restructured and updated incorporating innovative features such as:

  1. Trimesterial delivery with less number of courses per term
  2. One full term management internship in industry
  3. Possibility for dual specialization.

The KUSOM MBA program is an intensive two-year course spread over six terms of full time study. In the first year, students complete three terms, each lasting 14 weeks involving intensive class-room study and practical business projects. In the second year, they complete three terms with an option of earning more credits in their area of concentration or taking more electives to broaden their managerial competency base. During the entire sixth term, students work as management interns in organizations for hands-on experience of  management in real time.


Eligibility
Nepali and non-Nepali nationals with a Bachelor's Degree of at least three years duration or equivalent degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50 percent in aggregate or 2.5 CGPA on a scale of 4 from the universities recognized by Kathmandu University.


Note: An undergraduate student who has completed the qualifying educational level but is awaiting the final results may apply on a provisional basis, provided he/ she has already taken the last semester or final annual examination of the program and passed all previous year/ semester papers.


Admission Test
Applicants should appear for KUMAT (Kathmandu University Management Admission Test) on Friday 30 December, 2011. Successful applicants will be called for personal interview and other assessment measures.


Financial Aid
Financial Aid is available for a few needy and deserving students.

The last date for the submission of completed Application Form is Friday, 23 December, 2011.
Details about admission process can be obtained from KUSOM website www.kusom.edu.np or from admission office at KUSOM. Online Application Forms are available from and should be submitted through admission section of KUSOM website www.kusom.edu.np.

Interactive information session about the program will be organized from 1:00 pm – 1:30 pm on weekdays at KUSOM. Please book your seat for participation in the session.

  • Special Scholarships from CTEVT to study 3 years Diploma Program
