26 Members of TU of Nepal Called On Dhaka University VC

A twenty-six member team of teachers and students of Tribhuvan university of Nepal led by Professor Dr. Udhab Prasad Pokhrel called on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today Sunday, January 15, 2012 at the latter’s office of the university.


During the meeting they discussed regarding academic activities of Dhaka University and socio-economic development in Bangladesh in various fields.

Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique apprised the team members of the history of the Dhaka University since its inception and its academic and other activities, the history of our Liberation War and Language Movement in brief. He also apprised them of education system in Bangladesh and answered different questions of the students of the Nepal team.

The Vice-Chancellor thanked the team members for their visit to Dhaka University and their keen interest in its academic activities.

The Nepal team is now on a visit to Bangladesh under educational tour programme of MPA Batch 2011 to 2013.
