Minister Sharma stated that entire educational sector was in the doldrums due to the entry of unhealthy politics in educational and academic institutions and stressed on the efforts of locals to free the University from this situation.

He urged all to join hands to move ahead the University swiftly as the government has invested billions of rupees on it.

On the occasion, Vice-Chancellor at the University Prof. Maheshwor Man Shrestha demanded with the minister Rs. 250 million to run the MBBS classes started by the University.

Similarly, Chairman of the University Cooperation Committee, Lok Prasad Sangroula complained that the University is in a mess due to the lack of concern by the government as well as bad intention of some officials.
