A high-level committee has been assembled to investigate the missing answer sheets at Tribhuvan University. The committee has recommended disciplinary action against the examination controller responsible for the mishap.

The committee's findings suggest that Pushparaj Joshi, the examination controller, along with another examination controller and two branch chiefs, should face disciplinary measures for their alleged negligence.

According to sources from the Vice-Chancellor's office, the extreme lapse in supervision during the examination process has prompted the need for departmental action, as indicated in the committee's report.

Earlier, the Vice-Chancellor's office had established a three-member high-level committee, chaired by the former chairman of the National Examination Board. During a meeting of the Executive Council held on Chaitra 15, it was decided to form this committee under the leadership of former registrar Poudel to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter.

On Wednesday (Baisakh 19), the high-level committee submitted its report to Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kesha Jung Baral. Pradeep Chandramani Poudel, the coordinator of the committee, stated, "We have meticulously incorporated our observations and findings into the report. Now, the report is under review in the Vice-Chancellor's office."

Despite efforts to gather information on the matter, Kedar Rijal, the Education Director at Tribhuvan University, has declined to provide any insights.
