The Msc IT & Applied Security program helps students to develop theoretical, technical, and practical skills that are required in this current economic growth area. It focuses on one of two unique areas: Data Analytics and Computer Networking and Cyber Security, by providing opportunity to learn and improve abilities in an academic setting through a work experience program.

This program introduces teaching and learning tactics and approaches centered on one-on-one time with the teaching staff and tutor-directed activities. Students will practice reading and critical assessment of information recommended in class; work on research and development projects individually and in groups; regular practice of software tools to acquire proficiency; and individual directed research on current advancements in the subject field.

Eligibility

A second lower-class Honours IT-related degree from any recognized university or IT-related degree graduates with a minimum GPA of 3.0 from Tribhuvan, Kathmandu, or Pokhara University. All additional qualifications are considered on an individual basis and must be approved by London Metropolitan University.

Along with the portfolio and statement, related undergraduate degrees, as well as related employment or consulting in the field, can be considered.
